Give Your Skin a Scrub with LaLicious Island Guava Sugar Soufflé

As you know, I’m an exfoliation maniac because I love soft skin and I have also developed an intense fear of premature wrinkles since beginning to work in this industry. So needless to say, skincare is my number one concern, all year round. My lovely makeup artist pals over at M.U.S.S.T., Giovanna De Caro and Geneviève Dubé (your go-to ladies for fabulous makeup for any occasion), were so kind as to share a new sample of their favourite LaLicious Body Scrub with me. I’ve been on this scrub for exactly one week…and I’m already unable to shower without it. I’m addicted.

These are the same ladies who got me hooked on their addictive Self-Tanner. And the key to getting great results with a spray tan is to exfoliate the skin first so the tan comes out evenly. Whether you spray tan or not though, I think exfoliating in the shower should be a regular thing for everyone, especially if you wax because it helps reduce ingrown hairs. Plus, it also gets rid of dead skin cells and leaves your skin feeling softer and smoother.

I have been using Island Guava Sugar Soufflé ($40) from LaLalicious and I am in love. It smells absolutely divine and it’s all-natural. My skin feels great when I’m done using it and it’s so moisturizing that you actually don’t need to use any cream at all after your shower. You can see by the texture that it’s rich and super creamy. Plus, it comes in 8 delicious aromas to choose from.

Now even though you don’t need any cream, I used some anyway because I was eager to try it out. I used Passionfruit Lime Body Butter ($33) and it was so fab. It’s extra buttery soft and I just love citrus scents. If you don’t exfoliate first, then you don’t leave the house without at least smoothing your skin over.

Are you as skincare-obsessed as I am? Which products are your faves?
