Lancôme Limited Edition Summer 2012 CORNO Collection

The latest collaboration over at Lancôme is with Quebec painter, Corno. Living in New York and known around the world, Corno is a superb colourist so her contribution to this summer collection is definitely vibrant. Read on for close-up shots of my fave products in this limited edition collection.

As you can see, the collection is all about bright shades for summer. Here is the collection in person.

Vernis In Love Nail Polish in Jolie Rosalie ($16) and Color Design Lip Color in S.O.S. Pink Cream ($27) are by far my favourites. I am a huge fan of these feminine peachy-pink shades. If this doesn’t scream summer, I don’t know what does!

The Color Design 5 Shadow and Liner Palette in Golden Frenzy ($54) is a shimmering earth tone palette that won’t offset the bold lip colour in this collection. Plus, it comes with a mini guide explaining where to place each shade on your lids so you can easily use these products as they were meant to be used – even if you’re a makeup newbie.

Finally, there are two shades of Blush Subtil ($38): Cosmopolitan Pink (shown in first image) and Tangerine Tint (shown below). I love both shades to be honest, but I think this orange blush is really cool because it’s very different and it will certainly enhance a tan. I’m complete paste at the moment so as soon as I get some colour, this blush is going to be my one and only.

The collection is due out in Canada mid-May 2012, for a limited time. Are you into the Lancôme and Corno Collection for Summer 2012? Which products are your faves?

thanks for the details and beautiful shots.
I Bought a lippie from the Kate Winslet collection and find it’s the worst lipstick by lancome I’ve ever owned. Therefor, now I stay away from the limited edition collection. I think they have poor quality overall.

I like them but I have also learned that what works for one person may not work for another. Everyone has a different lip texture and needs so maybe Lancôme just isn’t for you in particular. Which lipstick brands do you find work best for you?
