My Favourite Bridal Haistyles for 2012

I can’t believe my time to be a bride has already come and gone. It was so much fun – I wish we could do it again…every year! I came across some totally gorgeous looks to inspire this year’s brides and I think you should give them a try. If you’re walking down the aisle soon, find out which one of these looks is perfect for you and why!

This ballerina-style chignon is one of my favourites. I spotted it on Glamour UK and it’s just so gorgeous. If you have a high cheekbones, you absolutely have to go with this look. It’s so pretty! And it will make your cheekbones look even more prominent – meaning every woman at your wedding will hate you for looking so damn good! I’m picturing it with a super fitted, mermaid-style, lace wedding dress.

The next look on my list is the retro-style waves. This is great if you’ve got really long hair and don’t feel entirely comfortable with it moved away from your face. That’s me! I went for this look for my wedding day except I added some bling hair accessories – which is really in this year. If you can’t go wild on the bling on your wedding day then when can you?

This side-swept up-do is another great one. It’s so classy and elegant but fun at the same time. I like the straight sleek part combined with curls. I recommend this look for anyone wearing a backless dress. It’s perfect for showing off your sexy back and is still wild enough to complement your ultra-scandalous dress.

I also think these looks work very well for maids-of-honour, bridesmaids and, quite frankly, wedding guests. I’m totally stealing look #3 for my next wedding. If you’re a wedding lover like me – who maybe just enjoys getting dressed up and getting her hair did – try one of these looks and send in some pics! Which hairstyles do you like best for summer 2012 weddings?
