Holiday 2012: Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura

Remember when I told you way back in June, when it was announced, that Karl Lagerfeld would be teaming up with Shu Uemura to create the most awesome holiday collection ever? Well the collection has arrived and I’ve had a chance to try everything out. Read on for the deets on this gorge collection, due at Shu Uemura counters at Holts starting November.

As you can see by the photo above, this collection is very fashion-forward, with designs and colour combos chosen by Karl Lagerfeld himself. I’ll start with the super-glam Eye and Cheek Palettes ($85 each). I love the combination of matte and shimmering shades and the unique colours are ideal for creating that perfect blend.

Prestigious Bordeaux

Smoky Velvet

I’m also really into the Rouge Unlimited ($31 each) lipstick, which is available in four different shades, including a deep burgundy (on trend for fall 2012) and a bright red, perfect for the holiday season.

If nail lacquer is your guilty-pleasure, you’ll adore the Nail Colour & Special Nail Stickers ($20). You can have loads of fun with these adorable stickers.

As mascara is a must and Shu Uemura is known for having one of the best eyelash curlers on the market, the Curl & Karl ($24) is a must-have.

I’m also a huge fan of gel eyeliners. I find they last longer and look darker, smoother and sleeker. The Painting Liner ($29) in this gorgeous mauve shade is what I call a show-stopper!

Lastly, though definitely a luxe purchase, the Cleansing Beauty Oil ($98) is great for removing makeup and makeup buildup an cleansing the skin. It’ll help keep your skin looking fab all day long!

How much do you love this adorable collection?
