Tweezerman Beauty Tool for Breast Cancer

Every year, Tweezerman joins the battle against breast cancer by selling a pink set of tweezers. Personally, Tweezerman is the only brand of tweezers I will ever use. It’s the best quality and the products last forever.

Who could resist supporting the cause when it comes to a purchase like this? I am loving the pink slanted tweezers which are not effective at plucking those unwanted hairs, but is also completely adorable. You can get your own set of Precision in Pink Tweezers at Sephora ($25).

Buy of the Week: Limited Edition Arnica Hand Cream from Yves Rocher

To support the fight against breast cancer, Yves Rocher is offering up an awesome hand cream you won’t want to pass up. Yves Rocher will donate $2 from the purchase of every tube of Arnica Essential Daily Moisturizer ($4.95) to one of my favourite charitable organizations, Look Good, Feel Better.

Look Good, Feel Better offers workshops to women battling cancer to teach them how to make themselves feel pretty during an extremely difficult and emotionally tiring experience. Since 2001, Yves Rocher and its loyal clientele have helped raise over $390,000 for this phenomenal association and this year, you can join the fight, too.

There are tons of great products you can buy this year to help support the cause and I think useful products we need anyway are a great way to contribute. No one should be leaving the house without a tube of moisturizing hand cream, especially with the harsh winter creeping up on us. Keep a tube in your desk or in your handbag at all time to keep your hands soft and smooth. Besides looking nasty, dry hands can be painful and extremely uncomfortable.

This cream is enriched with arnica so it keeps hands smooth, moist and protected. Pick up your tube this month at Yves Rocher stores or online.

    Fight Breast Cancer with Tweezerman

As you probably already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Tweezerman, the beauty tool experts in my book, are known for their amazing tweezers and next month, they’ll be joining the fight against breast cancer with your help.

Starting Friday, October 1, you can purchase your own set of Pink Ribbon Slant Tweezers for $25. One dollar from every pair of tweezers sold will be donated to Rethink Breast Cancer.

These adorable pink tweezers not only support a great cause, but are essential, too. Tweezerman tweezers are among the best on the market (I should know, I swear by my set) plus, they’re guaranteed free sharpening for life. So you will never need to invest in another pair.

You can pick up your fabulous glitter pair of Pink Ribbon Slant Tweezers starting this Friday at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, London Drugs, Rexall PharmaPlus, Jean Coutu, Lawton’s and other retailers until quantities last.

Joico: Hair Products for a Cause

Not like we need any more excuses to purchase hair products, but Joico is releasing two hair product sets that will not only work wonders on your locks, but support Breast Cancer Research.

Starting at the end of the month, you can purchase Joico’s JoiMist Firm Classic aerosol spray duo ($30) or the JoiWhip styling foam duo ($30) in hair salons. The products are professional quality so that explains why you’ll only find them in salons. You’ll actually get 25% off the retail price by purchasing one of these sets, plus, you’ll be helping Joico donate $10,000 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

My favourite part about the hairspray is that it protects your hair against sun damage. Even in winter, sun damage is a risk! UV rays harm your skin and hair all year long so do what you can to protect yourself.

If your locks are a little on the damaged side, I suggest opting for the styling foam duo because it’s an alcohol-free product which contains Hawaiian Kukui nut oil, known for its healing properties.

Get luscious hair AND support a great cause. Kudos to Joico for helping out. I urge all my readers to join the fight against cancer, in whichever way you choose. Just remember that every penny counts and there are people across the country who are in desperate need of a cure. We can all help.

Have a fabulous day, beautiful people!
