Chanel Spring Makeup: This is Why I am Obsessed with Beauty Products!

Anyone who knows me has probably complained at one time or another about my hoarder-like collection of beauty booty. While I receive the products to test for this blog, the really scary part is that I actually use the majority of what I get regularly. Who could receive a Chanel lipstick or eyeshadow palette and not want to use it? I rotate literally hundreds of cosmetics per month. It’s bad, I know. BUT, just take a glimpse at this collection and tell me you wouldn’t find excuses to go out just so you could wear these.

Le Vernis ($26) in Black Pearl is such a pretty nail colour. It’s not the pale spring trend, but more of a staple shade that fits into any well-rounded nail lacquer collection. The metallic finish is what does it for me. I don’t think I’ll get over shiny and metallic finishes when it comes to makeup.

For the lips, I’m so into Rouge Coco ($38) in Peregrina. It’s such a spring-ready colour and it’s really understated, elegant and effortlessly chic. It’s great for women who want to experiment with pale shades but aren’t sure how far on the colour wheel they’re willing to go. This natural pink hue is subtle, yet very pretty and it has a very faint touch of shimmer for a luscious effect. Loves it!

I’m also a big fan of the Ombres Perlées Eyeshadow Palette ($66) which my Facebook fans already know about since I posted a photo and description of my obsession over it a couple of weeks ago. Isn’t it amazing? The iridescent shades are breathtaking!

These products are available now at Chanel counters across Canada. Enjoy, beauty lovers!

Chanel introduces a new summer scent

No matter how loyal you are to your fragrance, there’s always room for Chanel. I use different fragrances depending on my mood, the weather, etc. But Eau Tendre, the newest addition the the Chanel Chance fragrance line is always my number one choice for an evening out.

There’s something about the luxury of a brand like Chanel that makes me feel classy, sophisticated and elegant. Eau Pure is one of my new favourites because it’s feminine and delicate. Chanel refers to it as a “delicious wave of tenderness.”

The fragrance will only be available for purchase in May but I just couldn’t wait any longer to tell you about it. It’s a tad on the pricey side ($100) but it is so worth it. I save my bottle for special occasions and evenings out. It smells fabulous!

Try out a sample for yourself before you make the investment but I’m sure that once you try it, you’ll fall head over heels for it.

You can also opt for Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche if you’re a fan of jasmine or the original Chance if you prefer a more floral and spicy aroma.
