I’m already a huge fan of Bourjois Paris makeup, but now they’ve really got me excited. I think I need to own this little pink car. I’m still figuring out how to get one. La Maison Ogilvy, the shopping destination for high-end designer goodies in Montreal, is hosting an event that I am very proud to announce to you. This Wednesday, April 7, you can attend the first annual Rendez-Vous Chic Fou at Ogilvy’s to raise money for Look Good Feel Better.
In case you’re not already familiar with it, Look Good Feel Better is the only charity in the country devoted to helping women deal with the effects that cancer treatments can have on their appearance.
This Wednesday, you can get 15% off your purchases at Ogilvy‘s (some exceptions may apply). While you shop, you can enjoy tasty snacks, great entertainment and check out a Bachelor Auction, as well. (Ladies, I hear there’s a surgeon up for grabs!) Tickets to the event will be $100. You can purchase them here.
I’m very excited about this event because Look Good Feel Better is an organization I truly admire. Some people may not take beauty products or beauty blogs like mine all that seriously, but we sometimes take for granted how important it is for women to feel good in their own skin. According to Anne Isabelle Pedro, the Quebec Regional Manager of Look Good Feel Better, nearly 22,000 women will be diagnosed with cancer in this province alone this year. The emotional battle that goes along with fighting cancer is one that we can help out with by supporting Look Good Feel Better.
Kudos to Ogilvy‘s for helping out such a worthy cause. Head to the store this week and inspire a woman who deserves to feel as beautiful as you do.
