Who Doesn’t Need an Oscar De La Renta Fragrance Cocktail Ring?

Have you guys seen this pretty cocktail ring from Oscar de la Renta. The gorge bauble is available for purchase through their Facebook fan page. Apparently, the luxe brand is planning some more amazing buys via their Facebook page in the future. Facebook just got better. Just when you thought it had reached its maximum potential, too. What do you think of this ring? Is it a waste of money? Is it the best way to wear a fragrance? Or do you (like me) not even care about the fragrance and just want the cocktail ring?

Can’t live without Make Up For Ever’s High Definition Blush

Is it just me, or does it seem like everyone you know owns a 12 mega-pixel camera so they can take close up shots of you that they’ll no doubt post to Facebook without your knowledge? In a world where anyone and everyone can get up close and personal, high definition makeup is a must.

MAKE UP FOR EVER to the rescue! Their high definition line of foundation is absolutely amazing. It covers every single flaw and leaves skin with a smooth finish. That’s why I was so excited to try out the new HD blush.

I’ve been using the High Definition Blush in #8 Pinky Nude for the last few weeks and I am head over heels for it. The colour is intense, long-lasting and it has a second-skin texture. So no matter how close or clear a photo is, my makeup never looks caked on, thick or dry. It blends in seamlessly with my skin for a flawless and professional look.

You can find MAKE UP FOR EVER’s High Definition Blush, at Sephora stores across Canada (or online) for $29. It’s available in 14 different shades.

Gushing over MAC’s new spring collections

Every year, MAC’s limited edition collections catch my eye. This year is no exception. There are three limited edition collections coming out this season and you absolutely need to get your hands on them.

The first collection (and one of my personal faves) is the Give Me Liberty of London collection available from March to May 2010. The bohemian chic cosmetic containers bring fashion and beauty together. Aside from the pretty decoration, the cosmetics live up to the usual MAC standards: smooth, long-lasting and top quality.

The Art Supplies collection is a must-have for makeup aficionados. The collection is made up of long-wear eyeliners and lip colours. The colours are shockingly intense and I am loving them. Bright and vivid colours are almost a pre-requisite for spring makeup. You might want to check this collection out as soon as it hits MAC stores and MAC’s website. It’s only going to be available during April and May 2010.

The third srpingtime collection is called Prep For Colour and this one might as well be atop your list if you want to take advantage of the other collections. The makeup primer and Prime Skin Brightening Serum will even out your skin tone and allow your makeup to adhere to your skin longer. Take my advice, when working with intensely bright hues, you can’t afford to skip out on a primer. Plus, the serum in this collection has SPF 50. That’s the highest concentration of SPF in makeup I’ve seen so far. If you take the time to pretty yourself with makeup, you should also take the time to care for your skin and treat it right. This collection will be avilable for purchase from April 8, 2010 until May.

If you want to browse MAC’s new collections before they hit the stores, become a Facebook Fan of my page and check out the shopping gallery. It has all the retail info and large images so you can get a sneak peek before everyone else ;-)
